For Covid pandemic, the company had started a deep collaboration with BIOSYNEX and EUROBIO (large European Covid diagnostic companies) and other much known companies (Thermo Fischer, Bosch…) specialized in this field for the first delivery of DIAGNOSTIC PLATFORM “TURNKEY” for Congo, Equatorial Guinea government for COVID-19 TESTING PROJECT.
Blueshield acted as a SYSTEM INTEGRATOR of an INTERNATIONAL CLASS LEVEL AIRPORT TURNKEY TESTING PLATFORM being the interlocutor for the technical aspects for government.
Blueshield had subcontracted different fields of activity to different providers:
- ROBERT BOSCH MEDICAL, Germany providing Vivalitycs diagnostics machines and tests for 10 diseases,
- THERMO FISCHER, USA providing Quanto real time PCR diagnostics machines. Thermo-fisher RT-PCR machines and tests. Being the main provider of the solution.
- BIOSYNEX AND EUROBIO, France providing RT PCR kits and reagents in volume.
- MOBIOLAB, Germany providing the shelters and other infrastructures.
- LIMS IT, USA providing information technology system for patient tracking and data.
- Other.
International and indigenous partner were the Project Manager and Organiser (PMO), these companies handled directly Human resources sourcing and other local selected subcontractors directly.
In order to keep it very simple for contracting, technical and legal responsibility maters for this Africans contracts, few actors were selected for this works and Blueshield as integrator was performing professional services deliveries and, on the field, (day-to-day) manager responsible of the BOT.
